Slovak Technical University

Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (hereinafter referred to as “STU”) is a modern educational and scientific institution which was founded in 1937. The University is located in Bratislava, capital of Slovakia. Currently, there are 7 faculties, that form Slovak Technical University and are located in Bratislava and Trnava. There are multiple study programmes offered in English levels at 3 different levels: Bachelor, Masters and Doctoral level.

University is involved in European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) which makes attained study results more comparable and students eligible for transfer. In addition to that, University is involved in various research activities with many universities around the world. Thanks to this fact, theory is balanced with praxis and offer graduates of STU great perspectives of employability after graduation.

STU offers education in foreign languages, primarily in the following fields of study: civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemistry and food technology and architecture.

Since its foundation in the year 1937 more than 145.000 students have graduated. In average, 17.000 students study at the STU every year.
