The entrance examination is not required – after submission of documents, it is needed to pass Skype interview which is focused mainly on English skills and motivation to study in Slovakia. Applicants who pass Skype interview will be given a conditional admission letter. The final letter will be issued after nostrification of degree.

Course Details of Bachelor level:

You will be able to design a prosthesis for a person with a missing limb and make it by using 3D printing, model and make an orthosis or insole for athletes, analyze the movement of a person, digitize the human body, design medical crutches and wheelchairs. For all this, you will use knowledge from lectures and practical exercises in anatomy and physiology, biomechanics, prosthetics and orthotics, basics of mechanical engineering and other interdisciplinary subjects. Friendly and experienced teachers and practitioners will share all this with you. During your studies, you will regularly study in prosthetic companies, through excursions and professional practice you will gain invaluable knowledge in the field of prostethics and orthotics. If you like krowky, czech beer or you like flamenco dance and you want to meet new people, new cultures, improve your language skills or other skills, we offer you the possibility of foreign internships, but also professional excursions or participation in world exhibitions and trainings. A prosthetist and orthotician – a bachelor’s degree graduate is ready for practice, for his or her noble job – to help maintain or improve human health, but also to significantly help those who have a serious congenital or acquired handicap.
