The faculty was founded 1953 and was part of College of Railways in Prague. The faculty prepares applicants for jobs in transport and all modes of transport operational technologies. The Faculty mission is high quality education, science and research in the field of engineering, operational, technological and commercial-economic disciplines of transport and communications for prospective careers of our students.

Graduates may find occupation at a mid-level of operation or business management of corresponding corporations or institutions. After passing Master level of education, the graduate is able to develop new procedures or innovative methods and approaches.
