The entrance examination is not required – after submission of documents, it is needed to pass Skype interview which is focused mainly on English skills and motivation to study in Slovakia. Applicants who pass Skype interview will be given a conditional admission letter. The final letter will be issued after nostrification of degree.

Course Details of Bachelor level:

    • theoretical basis and practical experience in the field of progressive materials, technologies, analytic tools in the design of car components, organization of their production and assembly, supported by CAx technologies,
    • an excellent basis for further education in master studies in the accredited study program Automotive Production,
    • opportunity to develop your creative and innovative skills in the application of progressive materials and technologies in case studies, e.g. ECO Shell Marathon projects and modifications of the Volkswagen e-up! electric car,
    • increase your prospects for professional employment in industry,
    • knowledge and skills in the field of car testing, car sales, production management, car maintenance management and other automotive-related activities,
    • knowledge and experience in planning and optimizing production processes,
    • knowledge of how to create working documentation according to quality standards ISO TS 16949,
    • experience in teamwork while solving technical problems, managing small teams and improving presentation and communication skills.Where can you find employment? in automotive production plants, in car sales and service, in technical operations of supply chains and mechanical engineering production plants.

Course details of Master level: 

  • What will you gain?• knowledge and skills how to create new products, especially computer-aided design and construction techniques, virtual reality, creation of material and virtual prototypes and their testing, which predispose you to become experts in the field of development, design and management of production in automotive,

    • knowledge and skills in processes for car components production, assembly units and their completion on the final assembly line,

    • knowledge of production technology, the structure of production workplaces, testing, logistics and organization of supply chains in the automotive industry,

    • knowledge of planning, optimization of production processes, creation of documentation according to quality standards ISO TS 16949, based on which you will be able to work in a team with other professions participating in ensuring production,

    • knowledge and skills in the application of process improvement methods and analytic methods,

    • knowledge of trends in the field of alternative propulsion and autonomous car control,

    • knowledge and skills to develop products, technologies, tools design, automation, and production equipment for the production of automotive components with the support of CAx systems (CAD-Catia V5, Solid Works, simulations – PAM Stamp, Sysweld, NC programming),

    • complex overview of the automotive industry as an added value when applying for a job in the automotive industry.
